Yes, I know, it’s strictly two photos but the two go hand in hand. The top is the charcoal burner in Heligan’s Lost Valley and the lower image is a detail from a charcoal sculpture, also in the Lost Valley by Cornish artist James Eddy. You can read more about it on their website. It made for a lovely Sunday morning, roaming the woods & listening to birds sing.
